Default Dan Patrick stepping down from ESPN

Very surprised to hear this news. His radio show is very funny, and unlike Sportscenter, he shows some real personality. I don't know why he would leave a cushy gig like this, but I'm not in his shoes. Maybe after 18 years, I would be ready to move on myself.

I wonder what he will do now? I hope he has some sort of radio show in the future.

He has the "dream job" that many of us would do for free. However, I guess after 18 years, he just wants to do something else. Can't blame the man. Who knows, we might feel the same if we were in his shoes as well.

Glad to see him go. He is an arrogant jerk who really doesn't know that much about sports, but he often thinks that he is bigger than the story. Good riddance...

Agreed. The only thing I liked about him was that he wasn't afraid to ask a tough question, but he would quickly undermine that by somehow inserting that his view of what happened in a given situation was right and can't be proven wrong.

Maybe he'll go Olbermann's way and turn into a lefty political man that actually makes me want to hide the fact that I'm a lefty as well.
