I'm wondering if WWE is muting the crowd, that CM Punk chant was really loud and died out very fast..

the crowd will sound dead for a long span then randomly you'll hear a loud chant, like the "we want Punk" chant they just did

Vince doesn't want the fans at home hearing the CM Punk chants

"they aren't cheering for anybody, they like both teams so they aren't cheering"

aka we've muted the crowd because they are chanting CM Punk/ We want Punk

AJ called Naomi a "baked potato" live on air and drew a major heat backstage since some consider the word to be a racial slur and WWE is very serious about this kind of things. This is not the first time AJ causes on-air troubles. She could be fired.

I googled it and couldn't find anything about it being a slur. Never heard that one before.

"There are a couple of people on Twitter claiming that they were kicked out of tonight's RAW for chanting for CM Punk. One of the tweets claimed that WWE kicked nearly 40 people out of the arena tonight."

Also, announcers are no longer allowed to say "choke" (presumably due to the sexual connotation) or that the "title changed hands" (same reason). They also can't say "five-star match" or "match of the year," since the other matches would get jealous, and when the heel performs something illegal, announcers cannot say that the referee didn't see it but are instead advised to say that the referee's vision was impeded. Why? Because the former makes the fans feel like they're being treated like idiots.

They are very, very careful on the word choices. Remember about the use of "superstars" instead of "athletes" or "wrestlers" to refer to WWE wrestlers in order to bill the company as entertainment instead of sport to save some money?

Ok baked potato is in no way a racial slur. She was talking abut the fact that she looks like she's wearing tin foil...if she gets in trouble over this then WOW

And on a side note I love how righteous WWE tries to be with racial issues but then they have an entire character based around racism that makes comments about Mexicans and how we should deport them all. And even if you wanna go outside scripted stuff, they have the Mexican wrestlers riding low rider bikes and lawn mowers to the ring and actually had Orlando Jordan as JBL's house boy for a while. The list of racially offensive characters over the years could go on for miles

But NOOOO WWE has no place for things that could be perceived as racism.
