Sandow might aswell retire. I like him, but holy shit how can we ever take that character as a serious threat after losing to a 1 armed man who was in a championship match the night before, beaten down with a chair and on top of that the guy returned 4 months early.

What a waste, what was the point of Sandow winning the briefcase? So he could be fed to Cena? Does WWE plan anything out ahead of time besides their main event program?

I'm increasingly sure that every one on the roster over 6ft tall is just there to be fed to super-cena. This sh*t was stale less than a year after he won the strap.

The second Sandow cashed in and it went to a commercial, I knew Cena was gonna win. My first thought was Sandow would win, setting up a fued with Cena at the next PPV and Del Rio somehow getting involved, setting up a triple threat match. Now? Idk.

No matter what happens with TNA from here on, no one can act like the company created its demise. You can talk about goofy contracts or crap angles here and there, but its nothing no wrestling company ever hasn't or won't ever do. I think at this point TNA as a viewing product is the best its ever been, and i've been watching since those $10 Wednesday PPVs. If anything held the company back it would be the very thing the internet praised them for; pushing the x division. As much as i enjoy a lot of those guys, fans are insane to think TNA could grow or maintain a profit with these tiny guys flying around the ring as the main guys. AJ, Aries, Daniels, and Joe have always been in a league of their own, and you can argue that only Aries really has the total package.

It would take TNA to be around on tv consistently for about 15-20 years before they made a dent in WWE's audience, especially in this day where the average fan is more WWE mark than wrestling mark. wCw got to grow out of NWA's fandom and launch itself with great backing. TNA had to go in reverse; it had to fight against the negative rep wCw created for any wrestling company wanting to be on TV that isn't WWE. Had to fight against WWE basically taking over all the wrestling world, against lack of financial backing to attract names (and you do need names, this isn't a sport backed by stats), and against the time needed to build itself (as TNA has always been rushed into becoming a big deal - by fans and corporate).

Anyway, i've enjoyed the hell out of TNA this last year plus some, and really hope the company keeps going. People have been saying the company is dead for the last decade, and they have all been wrong. And they'll be wrong about any reason they say it died if it does soon, unless that reason is money. Because WWE has been shit the last 6-7 years, but because they are the household name with the wrestling monopoly, they can be crap as they try to find their new boom (which appears to be on its way), but no other company gets that luxury, and i blame the fans for that. As a wrestling fan, even when i didn't enjoy TNA, i appreciated TNA, the same goes for wanting RoH, PWG, Chikara, and other companies to continuing growing; because wrestling fans need variety, so that the talent has options as to where they can make their living. If all they have is overseas and WWE, then that makes for a boring wrestling universe.

If only TNA can somehow move Impact to a network with wider audience than Spike, which is functionally dead at least to me now.

Rumors are that most likely Viacom will buy TNA, which would keep it on Spike, but could be a blessing in disguise since Viacom could promote the hell out of it all over prime time TV.

If the wanted to, Viacom could have TNA the best chance of succeeding that they are likely to get unless Turner wants to go back to his roots or take one last shot at Vince

AJ Styles is scheduled to defend the TNA WORLD championship in AAA this Sunday

For me TNA was at it's peak in 05-09. I'm a big Jarrett, Christian, Rhino and Raven mark so those guys as main-eventers was awesome. I also loved the storylines like Abyss home-invading Christian and the whole Abyss/Chris and "Father" Jim Mitchell. The first year and a half of Kurt Angle was unbelievably good, Joe-Angle was flawlessly built for the first 6months.

I remember when I took an old white t-shirt and wrote on it in black marker "Don't Fire Eric."

Report: Hulk Hogan Returning To WWE

WWE Examiner learned exclusively on Thursday from a trusted WWE source that Hulk Hogan is officially back with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Although Hogan has reportedly refused to sign a typical "legends contract," there is said to be a verbal agreement in place between Hogan and WWE that will result in Hogan returning to WWE programming possibly early in the new year.

There is even talk of Hogan returning as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble.

"We knew this would happen at some point," the source tells Examiner. "It's my understanding that there isn't a contract in place, but there's a verbal agreement that will move forward. It's just a good fit for everybody involved, especially with the milestone WrestleMania 30 coming up. Hogan needed to finish up his stuff with TNA and just come home."

In recent days, WWE has been emphatically relying on Hogan's image to promote its newest video game and the thirty years of WrestleMania mode. Clearly, nostalgic WWE fans are loving it. And they're about to really love what comes next - Hogan's return.

For well over two months now, Hogan has purportedly been training furiously for a return to the ring. By all accounts, he will be ready by January for a limited in-ring run.

Ironically, just yesterday, a meet and greet opportunity with Hulk Hogan scheduled for November 8th went up for auction on the Charity Buzz website. Included in the package are tickets to an upcoming WWE event. Even the photo of Hogan features the legend wearing the WWE title.

So, are you happy with the news that all signs point to Hulk Hogan returning to WWE?

Hardy and Rhino have been MIA. Corino will be back. The Brisco are still around but now opt to work solo with Jay being a main eventer.

I hope that the rumours of Billy Corgan buying TNA come to fruition. He would definitely make TNA an alternative to WWE.

I would be very bad. Does Corgan either really know pro wrestling business or have a shit load of money? I believe he has neither.
