I've read mixed opinions on it, but I thought it was hilarious.

He wasn't really acting like a tough guy. I'm sure he knows Lesnar would destroy him in a shoot fight. Rumors back then was that the WWE was really trying to get Lesnar to come back and face Undertaker at WrestleMania 27. But I think Undertaker picked a bad time to start the wrestling feud. But he did make it seem realistic. I LOVED their feud in the WWE. Undertaker/Lesnar Hell in a Cell is one of my favorite matches.

Also, even though there's no way he could take Lesnar in a shoot doesn't mean he's not tough. The guy is big, athletic and has been studying/training MMA and boxing for years. He's brought MMA to the WWE. He wears the MMA gloves, does submissions.

I remember reading in 2002 during a plane ride (might have been the "plane ride from hell" where Hall and Hennig got fired after) and Undertaker was asleep and was woken up to see Lesnar beating up McMahon. McMahon was in on it and was goofing around and wrestling with Lesnar. Anyways, Undertaker thought it was legit and he took Brock down to get him off of McMahon.

Honestly I think this will be better for Clay in the long run honestly. I mean think about it:

Huge, menacing guys who are made out to be monster heels: Dime a dozen. We've seen it a thousand times and the guys NEVER get over. Vladmir Kozlov? Ezekiel Jackson? Chris Masters? All big guys who had buildup, went on loooong drawn out squash streaks where they couldn't be touched. And guess what, the fans got bored and didn't give a flying f*ck.

Big, lovable guys who show charisma and seem like they're genuinely enjoying their roles? We've seen it, but it's much more rare. Rikishi; one of the most popular guys of the attitude era and despite his dancing, goofy gimmick he was still seen as a serious opponent. He got over with the fans, had a good time and despite NEVER winning the WWE title or having a memorable run with ANY title, we have more memories of him than we do of any menacing monster heel of the past decade.

The different is that Fatu can dance, at least convincingly. Clay just dresses in oldschool red and has two hot black chicks helping him. The next Mabel?

I like the new Brodus clay. WWE needs to go back to having gimmicks again. Seems like every wrestler is generic these days. This reminds me of old school wrestling with outlandish characters. Seriously, how many scary big fat guys do we see in the WWE that go nowhere? Time to switch it up

Agree with Screw. There's no gimmicks/gimmick names anymore.

Old School:
Rock
Stone Cold
Triple H
Undertaker
Kane
Big Show
Road Dogg
X-Pac
Chyna
Ultimate Warrior
British Bulldog
Edge
Christian
Big Bossman
Godfather
Goldust
Razor Ramon
Diesel
Scotty Too Hotty
Grandmaster Sexay

THOSE were wrestler names. They were gimmicks, nicknames...like superheroes

Now there's:

John Cena
Randy Orton
Dolph Ziggler
Daniel Bryan
Zack Ryder
Ezekial Jackson
Kofi Kingston
Evan Bourne
John Morrison
Wade Barrett
David Otunga
Justin Gabriel
Heath Slater

No gimmicks...Just plain old (Insert first name) (Insert last name). The only one who really does the whole "old school wrestler" thing is Miz. He's the only one besides Ryder that has a real catchphrase. And the only ring names nowadays are pretty much CM Punk, Miz and R-Truth.

Those in charge have no idea how to book strong heels anymore. Apparently, they dont want the heels to be too "scary" to the kiddies, like heels where back in the days when wrestling was marketed to adults. Instead, we get smarmy heels like Alberto Del Rio, guys who look like they could get beat up by members of the audience. Wrestling needs dominant heels for the faces to play off of.

Kane is portraying Palpatine role to Cena's Anakin perfectly.

Daniel Bryan Danielson is portraying a smartass heel perfectly.
