Mike Conley = T.J. Ford
he is a quick and dangerous passer who can score but, also set people up.
he wins by default as they need a quick speedy guard to start the attack and get the Grizz going.
Kyle Lowry (Go Wildcats!) = Jose' Calderon
They'll play pretty much equal minutes as they compliment each other well. Lowry is about 5 times more physical and will take the ball to the hoop at will. and he will take and welcome contact. If was never hurt last year this would be a non issue as Lowry would've displayed all his talents..
Yeah kyle is a bulldog definitly.Conley should get the job.Ofcourse with rumors about juan carlos navarro maybe being traded here.I would really look at him to start. If not be,to be the first off the bench.
Lowry should start, he's more NBA ready, he wants to prove that he's healthy and also wants to show that you guys didn't need to take a PG this year, because he can be the guy

Comparing a rookie that has yet to play his first NBA game -and thus is yet to be seen if he can be successful at the next level- and a second year PG who barely has played 20 NBA games to a player that has 3 seasons under his belt and a 26 year old that had an impressive rookie season might be a little too optimistic.
I mean, that's like a best case scenario. And we all know that it usually takes a little while for PG's to come along, especially when you think Conley will barely be 20 when the season starts.
I'm thinking high on this PG duo, and hoping they can be part of the core of the Grizz, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.
Lowry isn't Calderon because he isn't the same shooter, and is much quicker than Calderon and more athletic. But Conley could be a rich man's T.J. Ford
Guys, what do you think will Conley's rookie numbers be? I've read somewhere that he'll go for as high as 17ppg 7apg. Any comments?
No it's not fair to conley.Paul was looked to from day one to be the star. There was no other real talent around him that year.If conley starts and/or gets 25 minutes a game. Then maybe he could avg around 11ppg and four assists, and a few boards along with like one and a half steals.
Hmmm - so no possibility that he'll turn into the new Chris Paul eh?
In his rookie year now he won't be close to Chris Paul level.
However, when he fully develops his game I can see him being on the same level as Paul is. Paul will in all likelyhood be the better player but Conley will be able to give him a run.
