because, and thank goodness for this, science requires a lot of research before it can be considered irrefutable truth. Evolution is a theory, just like any other theory, except this one has many aspects that are difficult to verify because of technological, chronological and spatial limitations. We are getting better and better at working around these limitations, but we are not quite there yet.

What is the actual base scientific theory?

Yet lots of people do accept it as the truth even though there are many researchers that proves it the other way around. It really is like a religion except people accept it because some researches in a top university assumes its the truth when doing their research.

Because it has less fallacies and makes more sense than the alternative. Elements of it have also been proven true (ie microevolution).

All scientific theories undergo revisions. Gravity under Newton's beliefs was changed under Edison's beliefs. They will probably be changed again.

also, a good proof against evolution. Evolution implies that humans are the most supreme being. We have 46 chromosomes. A Crayfish has 130 or so. A tiny little crayfish has about twice as many chromosomes as we do. Evolution is bull.

wow! That's not an avatar, it's your picture. You really are Timmeh after all!

Evolution is not some half baked ruse that is
kept alive by sinister PhDs all over the world,
and much of what keeps it from being fact is
that time travel is impossible. The simplest
way prove evolution is DNA mapping and
an even simpler way to understand the concept
is that we start off as a sperm and evolve in
the womb over nine months to become a person.

and yes animals also evolve. Adaptation and
evolution are in a constant state of flux.

Below is an example of how horses (an animal)
evolves:

Equus caballus or the horse is a mammal. Horses, donkeys, asses and ponies descended from a small dog like creature called hyracotherium. It is common to think of horse evolution as a straight line traceable back to one species, but that is not the case. Over the eons there were many species and sub-species each developing and evolving in response to their particular habitat.

The horse has several clues to its evolution. The chestnut, a growth of horny substance on the bone below the knee and the ergot beneath the fetlock are the remains of toenails. The splint bones (second and fourth metatarsal in the back and metacarpal in the front) and canon (third metatarsal and metacarpal) bones were toe bones. The horse essentially stands on the tips of its fingers and toes.

Primitive horses were small, standing not much above 14 hands (56 inches/141 cm). Modern horses are divided into three classifications: heavy horses, light horses and ponies. The size of modern horses ranges from 5 hands (20 inch/ 50 cm) to 19 hands (76 inch/192cm).

Clearly your family missed out on evolution. Can you actually write the word "breeded" and read it back to yourself and think it could be the right word? Can a human actually be that stupid?

Also... lol at comparison 11 on that pic. Love it.

yeah i misstated what i said, animals evolve, metamorphosis is a form of evolution, for humans, i guess puberty is...basically the act of evolving in that sense is true, but the whole theory of what we have today coming from an amoeba is not

Evolution is the most plausible theory for the origin of biological diversity. There is also a boatload of empirical evidence to support it. Just b/c it is a theory does not mean that it can automatically be dismissed. Nothing can be proven 100% but that doesn't mean that a theory is not the best explanation.

Yes it is, don't be so damn ignorant. Or perhaps your are just smarter than every other biologist, anthropologist, and paloentologist in the world. Or perhaps they are all devil worshippers whose plan it is to disprove the Bible and corrupt the moral fabric of America, or perhaps ...or perhaps...or perhaps
This country has gotten so much dumber in the last six years it is scary
