Arrow Off-season Thread

Any suggestions on what we gotta do this summer..

I actually think we have a contender-type team and we have alittle bit more pieces to connect..

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Get a new PG, who can create for himself and for others. Get Yao faster so he can guard a fast PF when Chuck has to guard a shooting big. Get Yao stronger so he can fight through doubles, and make the turn-around fades. Get Yao some court vision so he can pass out of doubles if he needs to.....

Basically need to work with Yao to take him to the next level.

Wow would love to see that but lets get real get him faster that is going to be very hard and stronger is probably a thing with Yao himself just isnt that aggressive. And instead of developing his fade why not develop his post game since it is in need of some help because he cant dominate a game and he is 7-6. Court vision isnt the problem the problem is him being so turn over pron work on that.

Basically we have to recycle Yao Ming. And it will take forever to get Yao better at all these things.

I hope Bonzi stays if we get a new coach

Bonzi would fit perfectly he can create his own shot and be a solid third scoring option and help Yao rebound the ball so we can play Battier at PF

PG - Alston
SG - T-Mac
SF - Bonzi
PF - Battier
C- Yao

or

PG - Alston
SG - Bonzi
SF - T-Mac
PF - Battier
C - Yao

Get a Scoring PG (Billups)

or get a scroing PF.

Draft an athletic player in the draft, because thats what we lacked in the playoffs.

WE can never get Billups. He's likely going to Milw. anyway.

get a new coach is probably the most important thing.

IMO, i think Alston is fine he just doesn't fit into JVG's no point guard offense.

We need a completely different point guard. A pass first type of guy so we don't have to worry about T-Mac taking up the ball every time its our possession. We need Steve Franchise back! Let's Debate!

We cant sign any good PF in free-agency, beacuse they are gonna request too much money, and we are under the cap. We can trade for one, but we have to be creative.

Mikki Moore comes to mind for a Power Forward. He's ery versatile and will be a potential walking double-double. A good back-up for Yao at Center and Hayes at Power Forward. We need some athletic Power Forwards down here.

We should make a run for a top 10 draft pick. We'll give Snyder, Tsakilidis, 26th pick for Julian Wright/Horford/Joakim Noah. One of them.

Yup. I'd love to have Julian Wright on our team. He brings depth at the 3, and can penetrate to the basket easily. He's apparently a good playmaker as well.
