Default Would you trade Camby for a solid SG?

It's obvious our backcourt is lacking size and players. Would you trade away Marcus Camby for a solid SG or swingman, for example, Jason Richardson or Shane Battier? Battier can play the 2 if neccessary, and he would bring shooting, which we need, size in the backcourt, and perimeter defense, which we also need. I know the Rockets aren't shopping Battier, and we aren't shopping Camby, but if the opportunity arose, would you the GM trade Camby for a solid 2 guard, not neccessarily Battier or Richardson?

Discuss.

Nope. Camby is the glue in the Nuggets team. He holds the D together. And with all the big men in the west a solid big man is a necessity

Really? I don't really know but I have heard his +/- is pretty bad for the nuggets D even though he gets the blocks.

assuming it doesn't make the cap situation any worse, and I have confidence K will be back at 90% or so, then I do it. It's the only gap we have left, and Camby is at the height of his value.

But you don't go trading him just to clear capspace by any means. He's still quite valuable to our team.

he also leads in rebounds and for at least the first half of the season they are going limit Kmart's minutes

Keep in mind Camby is about 31 or so.
