Gee hate to lose Steve Blake(since he is asking for over 6 million and is on the Heat radar) but not a bad deal as long as they aren't overpaying him. I know he burnt the Nuggets twice last year at least.:)

Now the Nuggets will have a distrubtor and scorer at the point and A.I. can kill cats at the 2guard spot.

On offense this doesn't looks bad, although I'm not sure how good of a distributor Atkins is, but I guess he is good enough.

But Nugz sure have a small backcourt. How this will look on defense is what has me worried.

We still don't have a solid peremeter defender to check wing players. Any good G-F will have a field day with our backcourt

The Nuggets signed Atkins to a two-year guaranteed deal today paying $3.2 million next season and $3.4 million in the 2008-09 season with a team option for a third season, according to sources. The eight-year NBA veteran arrived in Denver this morning to sign the contract and take a physical. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder replaces Steve Blake at point guard and is expected to add 3-point shooting and leadership while joining Allen Iverson in the backcourt

Me too, but i dont think our D will get any worse than it already was, and it will certainly improve our offense. So im pretty happy.
