Default Is Aaron Brooks our PG-of-the-future?

Do you guys think we're grooming him to be the guy in a year or two? It would make sense because the guy seems to be talented enough to eventually start, and our other two guys at PG probably don't have long-term futures here. Mike James is a 6th man type who's getting old, and Rafer could always be traded later on to fill another need.

Do you guys agree with that idea or do you think Brooks is destined to be a good bench player? (a la Mike James)

i see no reason he cant be the starter, even as soon as half way through the season if he plays well.

the summer league is exactly that though, so i cant really say till after one FULL REAL SEASON

Thing is we need a solid contribution NOW
this year and next.
we don't have many years of yao and tmac's prime to waste.

dude will be fine, but i think experience will hold him back in these 2 years.

They said about him being a starter, not a star.

read that again. i said he will probably be good as a back up because when he's saying future PG he's meaning will he be the PG that we need to turn to in the future.

Adelman is the type of coach to give young rookies a chance so I would expect to be seeing Brooks playing more minutes than V-Span ever did...cus as we all know if you dont play defense, you dont play for JVG.

Watching the game against Panthaliankaos, I was very impressed with Brooks, hes lightning quick which is a valuable asset..speed kills in the NBA and he is our future PG, I think he will almost the same impact Sam Cassell did in our championship years.
