One thing I never understood was the difference between Oil and Gas. Well now I do, but not really...


I always thought they were the same thing. Oil an Gas. Why? Because in Iraq they were like "We need Oil" or "Oil is running out" and they were like that is causing Gas prices to go up.

So I was like Oil = Gas, High Demans of Oil/Gas with low supply means higher prices of gas.

SO I thought they were the same. But I learned they aren't.



How are they related? I know what gas does, but what does oil do and how is it so related?

Is that a question? If so, oil is refined to make gasoline...
