i'm tired of commercial rap and rock.

if anyone could name some real rap music, old school r and b, stuff like that, it'd be appreciated.

also, i don't like the way you use the term "real rap music". no form of rap is more real than another. with that said, maybe this is what you're looking for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adIGlZshVqQ

or maybe this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG405y51cVk (damn that song is niiiiiice!)

Since I started getting serious 11 years ago about being a for real Christian(not saying I've been perfect in that, just saying that's been my goal), I've been listening to Christian Rap. I love Hip Hop, and I can appreciate certain Hip Hop from a musical standpoint. I just got tired of all the cussing and the beefs and the same old rhymes about sex, money, drugs and stuff. That used to entertain me, but I wanted something different. This is the kind of stuff I listen to now. Not trying to preach, and it might not get you as hyped as what's on the radio, but just letting y'all know about an alternative:
