Default Salary Cap

I know the Rockets are pretty much in Salary Cap hell, but what are the numbers looking like right now and when will we be out of trouble and able to spend money? Sura's injury and contract is messing us up right now big time. When will he be back if ever? What I really want to get at is when will the Rockets be able to make a move at a big time free agent in the near future?

Default Juwan Howard Problems

We will not be able to acquire a serious free agent until the 09-10 season thanks to our overpaid power forward (Juwan Howard). He is getting about 7mil a year. We will lose Bobby Sura's contract the year before. No team is willing to take on his salary because all team (Except for maybe the Knicks) know that he is seriously over paid and still has a Three years left on his contract. Getting rid of his contract is very difficult, and if we don't we probably won't have any cap relief for three years.

look juwan still may not be as athletic like before but he can still make you pay if you leave him open AND not to mention very smart basketball with fire we need to get players going. Sura on the other hand is progressing fast. So if things go well in the offseason for sura, we could see him back in the starting line up and see alston as a backup. I'd rather have smart players who accept there roles instead of egotistical **** who make mental mistakes

Does anyone have a time table for Sura's Return?
