Default Flip Murray...

Best case scenario? there's almost 0 chance that we can get a player in exchange for him and he's about the 7th best guard on the depth chart. where does he go?
best we can hope for i guess is a second round pick.
if we can't get anything done, will he be cut?

He won't be cut. He'll just be riding the bench until somebody gets injured (which hopefully doesn't happen).

I think he's 4-5th on the rotation depending on matchups, but it'll be interesting to see how the rookies and Flip do in camp. There's a small number of minutes behind Billups, Hamilton, and Stuckey, and 3 guards fighting for those minutes.

He can certainly score, and I wouldn't have been surprised seeing him on a rebuilding team. He has a relatively low expiring contract, and he can provide some offensive confidence to a lottery team.

He could be part of a package deal in a trade. He just doesn't have the salary to be traded by himself. I could see him and Nazr possibly ending up somewhere. But if we don't resign Webber we may need Nazr.

Flip had alot of potential. If you remember about three years ago or two years? He started when ray allen got hurt and he averaged 20+ for like 20 games. He proved then that he could play. What happened.

Just out of curiousity, was that a contract year for him?

Not sure I know it was one of his earlier years.

I think it may have been a contract year for him. He left Seattle for Cleveland after the 05-06 season. For some odd reason players generally tend to step up their game a bit in contract seasons. He still has only averaged over 10 ppg for an entire season just twice in his entire career. He's listed as a shooting gaurd rather than a PG so maybe they don't intend to use him behind Stuckey, Hunter, Blaylock, and Billups. That moves him up on the depth chart.
