Knicks' Marbury Interested In Playing In Italy After NBA
In the NEW YORK POST, Marc Berman writes "Stephon Marbury made a shocking revelation yesterday, saying that when his contract expires with the Knicks in two years, he's planning to play in Italy. Marbury, amidst his 38-city, cross-country bus tour to promote his discount Starburys sneakers, told The Post he wants to eventually leave the NBA after having visited Italy in May with his wife."

I Know NY hasn't exactly been great for his career. But he will only be 32 when his contract expires and he wants to leave the NBA? Just wondering what you all thought about this

Bye.......

Have a nice day Steph, enjoy your pasta.

Collins and Nate can handle feeding our bigs and hitting jumpers.

Include Nichols, maybe Jones and whatever point guard I just about guarantee we draft next year if we have a first round pick.

I've said that I envision a lineup in 3 years of:

Collins
Nichols
Chandler
Z Bo
Curry

I am just wondering what can Mardy Collins do. I really like his Defense! that's grade A+.

However, I don't see him as an offensive threat out there. No jumper, no ball handling..

Yea I read that article and thought to myself...maybe 2 years ago I would be worried, but today...I ain't sweating it if he leaves.

With the scorers we have on this team and Mardy and Nate around...we're set.

I'm pretty sure Isiah is set on trading his expiring contract next year, i'm sure Marbury knows that...

Lets just hope the Lakers suck even worse this year... and that they can see a 21$ expiring contract as something valuable to them if not... well there's always G.Arenas

I don't think there is any seriousness to this whole but I'm finding it hard to believe there are some guys seriouslyhoping and anticpating Nate Robinson and Mardy Collins being our premier guards. Hilarious!!!!!

yea i wasn't really saying the Knicks should resign him or anything of that nature.... just that it would be insane if a 32 year old serviceable PG left the NBA to play overseas

I agree, Starbury made his money though. He didn't accomplish what he wanted to and that's make it to the finals and with that "shiney stuff" but he's made his money and if he wants to move to Italy with his wife and live his life then so be it.

Starbury will dominate down there i'll tell you that.

Marbury is so full of shyt and everyone knows it. I like what he does for the kids and all, but he's one of those types that speaks without thinking. And he loves to brag as well.
