Default Canada beats Argentina in U-19 World Championships

And moves onto the final 8

I know most of you probably dont care, but this is pretty big for Canada Basketball. We're going to be a really good team in a few years.

For some reason we don't even have Cadougan, Ashalou, Sacre playing either.

It would have been nice to see those guys play, but we can wait a few years until they bring Canada to some sort of relevance on the international bball scene at the senior level.

Joseph didn't even need to step up much either.

I think he's about 20 right now. He should really be playing D1 somewhere, but I heard he has visa problems or something.

I'm not sure about Cadougan, but Ashaolu is playing in all of those summer camps probably to get his name out to the big colleges. He verbally committed to Rutgers, but now with attention back on him again he's rethinking his choice (he really wanted to go to NC last time I heard. Same with Cadougan actually).

He dominated Renardo Sidney at a camp about a week ago and that dude is a top 5 prospect in the '08 class (same class as Ashaolu).

I'm just assuming this was why he decided to not participate in a tournament that doesn't really get your name out there.
