Default Which commissioner of a major sports league has to deal with the worst problems?

Seems like every league, except the NHL (which is falling into irrelevance) has a major scandal and bad press recently.

NFL -- off-field conduct (Pacman, Tank, Vick, etc.)
NBA -- officiating, new basketball, age limit, tanking (I pay most attention to this league, so obviously I can think of more issues here)
MLB -- steroids (baseball doesn't have as many scandals, but its one scandal is much greater than most of the NBA's)

Who's shoes would you not want to fill?

I think the NBA would be harder to run because alot of the NFL and MLB players that get in trouble aren't well known but these NBA players are house hold names and the commisioner is going to get criticized even if he does his job right..

NBA if it ends up the dude was in fact influencing games for gambling. The refs already had a crappy rep. Like or not the Mavs/Heat Finals had lots of people claiming it was rigged (not just Mavs fans either). This will really hurt the Ls image and at the very least, short term growth.

Right now it's the NBA. The implications of a ref in the mob's pocket are far more devasting than a handful of players getting arrested (NFL) or some guys MAYBE using steroids (MLB).

NBA also has to deal with a lot of exaggerated image problems the others don't have to deal with which IMO partly a product of having to compete with NCAA basketball. NCAA announcers and coaches constantly make reference to NBA having no heart. NCAA Football is played on different days and NCAA Baseball is not a major sport.
