Of all the players we lost over the years. theo is the one I regretted the most.
I havent had a good look at him in years, so I dont know if he can still do all the things he could when he was here before. If we could keep AI or bring in a potential star along with Theo, I wouldnt mind him coming back.
Theo is not the same player. He has a bad contract and he's still injury prone. I'll pass.
I think King is trying his best to holdout and hope the Hawks trade with him. I think what he really want is Marvin Williams or Josh Smith. If the reports are true. Hawks already shot him down when asking for Marvin Williams. It make even lesser sense to part with Josh Smith, who has become the new Dominique Wilkins to the majority of Hawks fans.
I wouldve like Randy Foye in a Sixer uniform and if the Sixers wouldve kept the 13th, they couldve opted for a big man instead. Nuggets and the Celtics are the only ones seem to be really interested in aquiring Iverson, at least for now. Nuggets dont have anyone I think that can help the team now or in the future. Celtics have a few bright spots but if any trade with them, 76ers just get a duplicate of they have now - swingmen. Waiting for a better deal with a third team coming along would obviously be the best choice for Philly if they want to get good pieces to get their rebuilding process moving.
i get a kick out of slow GM's who try to claim a top notch prize for waiting 2 years too long. the sixers waited too damn long to trade iverson. they should of done it when his value was at its' peak. personally, i wouldn't want iverson anywhere my team. i'd easily pick 10 PG's before him. A.I. is not the answer unless the answer is being a ball hog and a ghetto superstar.
no one wants iverson at his age and with that salary. maybe a handful of teams do, but up and coming teams would be foolish to trade for an over the hill ball hog who has an attitude problem, thus fits the city of Philly perfectly.
