post play actually looks solid. Doing **** in the post in 2k7 is a pain in the ass. You have guys missing dunks and wide open shots from 2 feet away(hitting the bottom of the rim/backboard)
there hasn't been an actual FUN NBA video game since 96 or so.
for me nothing can top "Bulls vs Lakers and the NBA Playoffs"
Quote:
* All 16 1991 NBA Playoff teams (up from 8 in Lakers vs. Celtics) plus the East and West All-Star Teams, plus courts with official team logos/colors.
* Player game stats updated while the game is in progress.
* An Instant Replay mode.
* New "signature moves" for star players.
* Improved defense and passing controls and a foul shooting meter.
Multiplayer options include cooperative and head-to-head modes.
at least in 2k7 you dont clank dunks 50% of the time
I clank dunks a lot in 2k7.
I'll probably end up buying live because I've had bad experiences with 2k games. I bought NHL 2k5, and it stopped working after about 4 months. I bought NBA 2K7 twice. The first one didn't work at all, so I returned it, and ended up with a glitchy game. The ball flies 20 feet in the air when passing out of a double team, baskets will have a lid on them for long periods of time, followed by ten shots in a row going in, sometimes the ball will roll the length of the court like it rolled off somebody's foot and will be called out on the ballhandler, etc. I played it on my friend's 360 and the game was fine though, so I may try 2k8 if I feel like buying a 360.
