I'm not a Magic fan, but I think this may be the 2nd biggest steal in the draft. I think James Augustine could definitely be the next Joe Smith, and he will do a good job helping fix the Magic's poor rebounding.

I don't know much about him but I loved his game in college. He should be a solid player in the league.

i'm really surprised he dropped so low. glad the magic were fortunate to pick him up instead of going Euro... 2 great pick ups by the team. both are proven in the college game. hope that translates into the pro game

Rudy rocks. He'll have a good season, but he was also drafted in the top 10 - where he should've been. I would probably say Marcus Williams cuz he dropped so far.

This sounds dumb and you'll probably laugh at me, but it's a tie for first between the Knicks picks. Put aside the fact that Balkman went too high, and
there is no reason after that to dis the pick. He will provide solid defense, reminiscent to me of a Dennis Rodman on the perimeter, a little Bruce Bowen-esque, w/o the 3-point shooting. As for Collins, he was a huge steal. He can play defense well, he can shoot, and he can play multiple positions. To me he could either be a Derek Anderson or a Joe Johnson. Either way, I expect him to be a good player in this league. If I had to pick between the two, I'd say Collins, b/c he could have gone mid first round but slipped to 29th. If I had to pick for talent and productivity, though, I'd take Balkman.

I never really thought of Gay but I suppose yeah you could put him at #1 steal.

Most Illinois players come out to solid players. I hope he'll do well with the Magic.
