would the dream draft for the raps be if they drafted:
1st overall- aldridge
35th overall- james white (i think he'll actually go late first round)
56th overall- denham brown (could be picked mid second round...right in between our picks)
then we sign jay will soon after.
jay will/calderon/ukic
mopete/denham brown
villaneuva/graham/white
bosh/bonner
aldridge/sow/arujo
ukic could end being our second string 2 guard actually and the battles between brown, graham and white would be interesting. anyways, this is my dream off season for the raps.
there almost seems to be too much potential...not enough room to breath.
i''d be more inclined to look at a PG like daniel gibson, or darious washington with one of our 2nd rounders, however if he dropped tot he second (like ukic did) i would love us to snap up rudy fernandez
other than that i'd like to trade our pick to NO for jr smith, 12 and 15 and sraft simmons or O'bryant and Rondo or lowry
Calderon / Rondo
Peterson / Smith
Villy / Graham
Bosh / Bonner
Simmons / Sow / Aruajo
with ukic and slokar, 2 second round picks and a tonne of cap room, we'd have a lot of flexability in the summer
i don't want two mid rounders....i actually like rondo, but i'm hoping we sign jay will. him, calderon and whenever ukic comes over is enough.
don't want another decent C like simmons. gotta take aldridge or barg while we have the chance. unless we take a pg and a sf in the draft and try to sign jay will AND pryz.
perfect scenario for raps would be to get the number 1 pick in next year's draft.
Seriously there's is no number 1 pick material that I see, especially at the positions that they need. Drafting Aldridge or Thomas would be like getting another Bosh only maybe not as good. I say they should draft Morrison and hope he can develop into a star scorer. Otherwise just trade the pick
i have seen nothing when watching aldridge that tells me he won't be very good.
i'm a little worried about morrison. he might actually be better suited for a team like toronot who will run a bit. don't see him being able to break down his defender one on one from the outside that often.

Which is why he shouldn't get picked! Christ, who CANT score in transition?! I could!
1. aldridge
35. fernandez
56. darious washington (just so we can cut barret and move onwards and upwards)
leaves us with
Calderon / Washington
Peterson / Fernandez
Villaneuava / Graham
Bosh / Bonner
Aldridge / Sow / Araujo
we'd also have slokar and ukic as possibilites
personally though i'd still think we could get pryzibla and jay willaims in free agency (you can never have too much talent) jay wont be looking for much more thna the minimum, looking to play himself into a nice contract next year (which is good for us as some bad contracts come off next year aswell) and joel pryzibla if hes not asking too much, if he is then chase someone like melvin ely
like I've said before, if Rudy drops to us? We're freaking SET. He's going to be as good as Manu, so a rotation of MoPete and Rudy at SG is fantastic. I doubt he drops, bbut oh man am I excited about it. MAybe we can pull this:
Trade Villa + #1 to Memphis for Gasol + #24. Then we use 24 to draft Rudy, then we have an incredible trio of Spaniards - Calderon, Fernandez, Gasol - along with Bosh, MoPete, Graham, (hopefully J.Will) and our 2nd round picks
[on the other hand Villa is still all-star talent, so maybe we should keep him)

 Rudy at 24? That's ludicrous.
A lot of people seem to think Gay can't play the 2 well enough. If so, what to dow with Joey? He'd have to be traded, he'd receive even less minutes than he does already.

wow, for a minute there i thought you were talking about rudy gay, and i was like "hows he gonna "fall" to us, we got the #1 pick baby", then "he aint gonna fall to #24, are you on crack" then i read about the spaniards and realised "****"
