Very impressive, I pretty much wholeheartedly agree.

Great analysis, vocab, and fluency.

SO many thoughts, and hence the organization and fluency isn't great.

Problem is people may skim over it, and the way you speak of it they will automatically get the impression that you don't know much about hiphop, despite the very clever references near the bottom of the page (esp. what consists of the underground scene.)

I say follow up with an article on how you wish or hope hip hop evolves to. LIke offering alternatives or whatnot.

I wish journalists adopted that style.

Damn it's a shame people aren't paying attention, that was some good work.

I think you hit it perfectly in the article. I especially agreed with the part about the "conscious artists". Most of the time they get so caught up in trying to start a revolution and sound deep and have comlicated, intricate lyrics that they lose sight of the song and how the listeners will be able to hear it.
