Default what happened to the good old fashion way

of eating healthy. americans these days are taking multi-vitamins, drinking vitamin water, and other immune boosting products to short cut the old fashioned way of actually eating fruit and vegetables. no wonder we are such an unhealthy country.

Because companies advertise calcium pills, not vegetables. Ever seen an ad that says 'Eat this veggie, it's good for you!" or "This fruit will actually make you healthy!" Nope.

I live in a different country but we have foodland ontario who has those type of comercials. Anyways do people really need comercials to tell them eat this or that because it is good for you. Also I believe the op is overstating the today's reality sure more of that is going on but so is a lot of the old fashioned way of actually eating fruit and vegetables.

i don't think unhealthy folks are doing any of the latter.

nothing bad about vitamins and vitamin water but taking them are not shortcuts to good health neither. they have to be combined with proper diet and exercise, hence the term "supplements".

bad health may be hereditary to some, but poor shape is self-induced.

Vitamin Water is a scam, loaded with sugar. I drink it, but only because I get it for free at work and because I drink over a gallon of regular water a day.

I am only speaking for myself here, but I try to eat fruits and veggies on a regular basis. Some fruits and veggies are actually pretty refreshing. I also exercise on a regular basis.

Didn't when I started to drink that much, but I've gotten used to it. I'm on creatine, so I have to constantly be drinking water.

ahhh.

Dont do too much of the creatine though. You'll add mass now, but you'll also highly increase the likelihood of being obese when you get older. A lot of people in their early thirties who want to slim down (fit people who bulked up in the 90s when it was cool) find it real tough to shed those creatine layers.
