Default Better point guard: Francis or Marbury

Who should start at point guard? Steve Francis or Stephon Marbury?

Marbury is the better plamaker of the both, which sounds odd. They're both overpaid ball hogs. Franchise is more of a super undersized shooting guard. Marbury. They seriously have to ditch one of them.

1: Marbury
2: Crawford
3: Rose
4: Curry
5: Frye

Francis should not be a 6th man yet.

They're both very good in their own respects.

Both score first point guards, but Marbury seems to be a better set-up man.
Francis can fill up the stat sheet better.

Marbury is also the better scorer IMO.

Marbury is far better. he did have that good year for the Suns. then everyone got hurt the next year and Amare and Marions egos swelled. i feel bad for the guy and anyone that has been basnished to the basketball hell that is NY right now. Isiah has been sent to punish them.

i had my fill of Franchise when he played for Houston. horrible to watch. huge ballhog. played 2 on 5 when he felt like involving Cat Mobley. even that wasnt a given. he is like AI with half the talent, skills or basketballIQ. oh and a dash of migrane headaches.

Marbury is the better point. Like someone else said, Franchise-killer is more like a shrunken down 2.

I would hate to be the coach to have to make this decision. It's like deciding how you want to die.

Marbury would be like dying in your sleep at age 90

Francis like being stuffed in a coffin and buried alive.

Stephon.

His combination of strength/speed/penetration in the lane is probably 2nd tier behind guys like B-Diddy and Prime Kidd.

His jumpshot is not too bad either and overall he is topnotch talent.

Focus on the postives, please.

Francis is the better teammate. I don't know why people keep saying that Steve Francis is a headcase because he was nothing like that here. Every game he played his a$$ off for Houston (while turning the ball over numerous times) and was well liked by his teammates and the whole city of houston. I think ever since mobley got traded away from him, he hasn't been the same player.

good analogy?

Howze a-boot:

Marbury-electric chair
Francis-lethal injection

and for good measure

Isiah-gas chamber
(better for killing en masse, like the careers of every Knick he's signed)
James Dolan-firing squad
(where Isiah will go at the end of this season)
Larry Brown-guillotine
(they decapatated that old bastard)

Default neither...

Both Francis(VAN,HOU,ORL,NYK) & Marbury(MIN,NJN,PHO,NYK) have been passed around the league like the village bicycle ever since they were drafted... I wouldn't start either of them if I was really James Colan.. I would trade them both away for some ROLE players and then start:

pg - Nate Robinson
sg - Jamal Crawford
sf - Jalen Rose
pf - Channing Frye
C - Eddy Curry

MAYBE THEN SOME CHEMISTRY MIGHT DEVELOP

First of all, it's James Dolan and second of all, Dolan isn't responsible for who starts and who doesn't. In conclusion, you're a dumbass who doesn't know a thing about what he's saying.
