Default The New PF

Is Radmonovic EXACTLY what the lakers wanted? mitch kupchak says so, but is that true? Vladimir is good from the 3 point range which stretches the defense for the opponent. But can he rebound? play good defense? block shots? like an average 6'11 player would..

Vlade is only 25 and he never before had a coach like Phil, who has his ways to get the most out his players. I'm looking forward to see a new Vlade this year!

one day he can probably be an all star.

He's just like the toni kukoc that phil needs.

Plus, Mihms is much better developed than Bynam at this stage

I dont think the lakers were thinking about defense and rebounding when they were picking up radmonivic. They were thihnking about having a legititmate shooter which is a necessity in the triangle. Plus he is tall so he could shoot over most shooting guards and if he played PF then he would draw out the big men from the lane maming it easier to cut and slash for the others...i think he is a great complement to this team

You know, I just don't get it. Why do people think Vlad is a PF? He can't and never will rebound. He is known for his shooting, yet you have him playing down low. Lamar is known more for his rebounding than his outside shooting, yet you have him at SF on the perimeter. Why? Why, i ask my self? Kupcake just made a good move, and now you don't want Vlad utilized to perfection, and would rather have him foul out down low than do damage on the perimeter. If you want a big man to stretch the defense, than ask Kupcake to get Kevin Pittsnogle, someone who would at least try to give effort down low when he doesn't get out on the perimeter. But not Vlad, please no. Just stick him at SF, where he could be our Peja, and let Lamar continue rebounding. PF didn't work out for him in Seattle, and there is no reason why it will change here. Don't understand the whole Vladimir Radmonovic, PF thing.
It would be stupid to stick him down low.

Actually, the lineups are gonna look more like this:

Smush Parker/Shammond Williams/Jordan Farmar
Kobe Bryant/Maurice Evans/Sasha Vujacic
Vladimir Radmanovic/Luke Walton/JR Pinnock
Lamar Odom/Ronny Turiaf/Brian Cook
Kwame Brown/Andrew Bynum/Chris Mihm
