To me the underrated list is full of the greats that are in the underground that are never heard.

To name a few:
Brother Ali
Immortal Technique
Murs
Little Brother, specifically Phonte, no disrespect to Pooh
Common, even though he's not underground he still doesn't get his just do
Jedi Mind Tricks, and there Army of the Pharoh click, bunch of really god rappers in that click, the Army of the Pharoh album from last year was straight fire.

I could probably go on with this list forever, because most hip hop fans have no idea of the quality of music being made by these underground cats, which makes a whole lot of them underated. To me though Brother Ali is the most underated rapper out there, he is by far my favorite artist right now, he's released 4 albums in the last few years, the first one wasn't great as he seemed to be experimenting. But his second Shadows of the Sun is a classic, the Champion EP is amazing as well, and his recently released The Undisputed Truth is great from start to finish. To anyone that wants to hear a intelligent style of Hip Hop go pick up any of his last 3 albums and you will instantly become a fan.

All I ever heard was that Tony Yayo claimed Ghost didn't write Supreme Clientele - I never heard nothing else about him having a ghostwriter...

Juvenile's rating currently is as high it'll get. What songs of his make you tend to make his rating higher. It's right where it is. Song's completely suck.

Anyway, Warren G, Eric B, and 8-Ball are all underrated.

Papoose? You gotta be kidding me. He's on a nation wide level. And now he's garbage. Industry got to him. By the time his debut album ( ) comes out it's most likely gonna be trash.

Royce Da 5'9 is very underrated. He Ghostwritted a few tracks on 2001 and was also supposed to be featured on the album until he got into a heated argument with Dre. He is dropping mixtapes for the past 12 years almost and they were always successful but the majors won't give him a record deal. He only made 3 singles in the mainstream and BET was the only channel spinning his tracks. Hip Hop, Boom and Rock city are great tracks that I recommend.

Yea, it's just not what the public wants to listen to. The beats aren't mainstream, so he won't be mainstream.

Hip Hop and Boom are Dj Premier beats. Not really mainstream beats in my opinion.
