Joe Wait aren't you the medschool student who struggles to count to three.
How in gods name could anyone trust you with measurement.
To say that a player is 6'4'' or 6'5'', and listed at 6'8'', well I will bet an avatar that he is above 6'7'' hows that?

If hes that good in college and he has the heart and desire everyone talks about then i see no reason why he cant adapt to the NBA and become a good player.

Awesome thread. This is why I always look forward to official player measurements at the camp with and w/o shoes.

I'd be surprised though if Morrison checked in at under 6'6" (w/o shoes.)

Unless he takes nothing he has in college into the NBA he is better than Wally or Korver are right now, without having played a game in the NBA.

He will never be Bird good. Never. But he should be better than the other 2 as a rookie. Wally is a cancer and an awful basketball player, without even mentioning the contract. Korver can chuck. Thats it. Good for a hustle play or 2 a game, but that really is it.

Morrison should be a second tier swingman, with guys like Hamilton, Redd and others. Not a 5th or 6th tier like the guys you named. Morrison is more athletic than people give him credit for and he is super skillful and one of the smartest players to come out of college, ever.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see Allan Houston in Morrison?

Houston was obviously more athletic, but they way their stroke and creative ways to score are the same. Same with their ability to probably only be a scorer instead of everything else. Morrison is the better passer, but I don't think he'll be averaging more than 4 apg.

There's no way he's better than Szczerbiak right now.

You have an irrational love for Wally though so I dont count your opinion on him. Wally is a chucker. A high percentage chucker, but a chucker none the less. Never made a team better in his life well at least not his NBA life.

Morrison is the new hot thing right now like Hansel in Zoolander.
But he is not better than Wally today and he may never be that good.
We tend to over hype whatever is new.

Don't even bring up Bird or the other DiggLer

A high percentage chucker

Does that make sense to anyone? I mean, if you're shooting and making nearly 50% of your shots....why not shoot more?
