Jump Ball...
Who lines up to take the tipoff this year? Rasheed did last year, and barely ever won any tips. I suppose it's not that important to win the tip, but if we could name someone to jump, who would it be?

Re: Jump Ball...
Interesting that you both chose smallish players for this. Maxiell can probably jump better than the rest, although I don't think he can quite reach as high as Rasheed. The 6 inches or so are tough to make up with a straight jump.
I don't think Flip will start (not that I think that was a serious response anyway...), but I wouldn't see a problem with Amir starting to jump it up. The first 5 minutes or so, the shots will go to Sheed and Rip anyways.
Why not just give up the jump ball? We'll get the ball first in the 2nd and 3rd quarters that way, which tend to be our better quarters anyway...

Re: Jump Ball...
If they resign Webber like the rumors say, we will have the same starting line up. If that's the case then Rasheed will take the jump balls.

Yeah, but he would have no chance against 7 footers.

I'm a big sheed fan, but he doesn't really have much chance against most 7 footers either...

Maxiell would be my pick just for the jump he has the most hops on that team

He's only 6'7, so he'd have no chance.
