live has tried to step it up in the "features" department and has a deeper franchise mode and more attritibutes. we haven't heard anything about 2k8's new features.

now that doesn't mean anything if Live can't drastically improve it's gameplay engine.

buy 2k8 not live.... in nba live, you can actually hit 10 three pointers in one quarter by yao ming...in 2k8, three point shots dont rarely go in by players like yao, shaq, ben wallace...

nba live is horrible. the best version was 2004, then 06 for the xbox. after that they absolutley suck. NBA 2K8 is gonna be the one to get considering 2K7 was the best bball game so far. Live 07 was a joke.

i saw the on stage demo for Live 08 and the gameplay is still garbage, the screens might look good, but the gameplay cant even compare to 2K.
