Price, a four-time All-Star, spent 12 years in the NBA, most of them with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
"I'm very excited to be working for the Grizzlies," Price said. "They have a whole new staff from the general manager to the coaching staff. There's a lot of talent to work with, and I'm excited to be a part of it."
I think he is a very good addition to the Grizz coaching staff. Probably Navarro will be the guy that will benefit more from him.
Mark Price could be a good addition as he could be a great mentor for both Lowry and Conley.
But I'm especially interested in seeing what Conley can learn from Price. All the fancy drives, amazing court vision and great shooting touch Price had, I sure hope Conley can learn from Price.

Maybe I'm too optimistic, but considering that Conley is already a good passer, if he can learn something more in this area and get some of that shooting touch from Price, man, we could be talking about a future best PG in the league...
No I agree.I was just mentioning that I had actually just read that.It was weird cause I had only seen it on one other website. Then you had posted it here.
Being a Cav's fan since their beginning, the Daugherty: Price combo was certainly one of the best in basketball for the short time they were together. What a pick n roll! Inside/out.
Price worked out Hughes this summer to straighten up a hitch in Hughes form... To bad I am cynical concerning Hughes...a hughes dissapointment for the Cav's...excuse the pun.
Price can teach shooting form, release, court awareness, free throw rhythm, distribution and pick n roll timing. He will be a great mentor for Conley, Navarro and Lowry. In fact, I see Conley as a Price clone. If as a point, he (Conley) can perfect the 3, he can become one of the best!
