How good will Wright, Boone and Williams be off the bench?

If they play well, they can provide youth and athleticism.

Yes the Nets can win a Title this coming season. No reasons why they can. Not even going to respond to the Vince Carter BS. He is still a great player. People just says he complains. Well I don't know about you but I would want out of a franchise that was doing nothing positive.

Memphis drafted there backup to Damon in Kyle Lowry

I seriously think they do. The problem has been depth on the bench. They got that in the draft. Marcus Williams will mean so much because come playoff time, Kidd will have more energy, he won't have to play 40 mins a game. He can play 30-35 and not worry because of Williams. Same goes for VC/RJ with Antoine Wirght. If Wright plays maybe 20-25 mins a night, that will help a lot. Boone has been impressive, plus I believe Krstic will be even better this year, he's been slowly developing well as a good help defender, plus, he has his undeniable offensive talent.

well I think they should make a strong push for Lorenzen Wright (who I think is a free agent), possibly do a sign and trade with McGinnis like someone else suggested.

If they could make that move, I could definately see them contending for the title.

Trade Vince for Kenyon Martin. According to our resident fruity Spanish boy the Nets will win the title that way. Thanks for your intelligent insight.

That's the same eye that foresaw the Mavs. beating the Heat twice in Dallas to win the chip. TMac'sOneGoodEye seems like it's suffering from overcompensation.

Yes, they can. However, Richard Jefferson would need to have a career year. You know what you're going to get out of Vinsanity, Kidd, and Kristic. Jefferson's game is up and down and if he is up, the Nets can contend for teh title. And if the ball bounces their way, they can win it all. They just need some good luck like all Champions.

No, and they're not really that close either.

They need a big. Kristic can't do it by himself. Marcus Williams helps backup Kidd quite a bit, but there's no proven sub for Jefferson or Carter yet. Antoine Wright averaged 1.8 points last year. He's got a lot to prove.

They have no depth for their wingmen, no power forward, and no depth for their bigs.

Kidd has also begun his decline, he'll stay good for a couple more years in all probability, but the window of opportunity is closing.

The Nets really need one more big, whether it be Wright or Cato, someone who can rebound, play defense, block shots and take up space from the bench.

They also need good, consistent performance from at least two of their young players, Williams, Wright, and Boone.

No. Kidd is getting old, carter cannot be relied upon, Jefferson sucks, and my boys are going to come with a vengeance and win it all after being screwed by the refs in the Finals in 05-06

If you have JKidd, Vc, who is a dominant scorer whether you like it or not, and a developing big who is on the verge of an all-star season whether you like it or not, you have a shot, period. The Nets are in the conversation for best starting lineup in the league, whether you like it or not. Depth is the key, they have depth, they contend, period....
