Top 5 MVP candidates:
Only need to name 3, since only TD, Nash and LBJ will have a shot at the end (unless the Lakers make a trade for JO and secure homecourt and then Kobe would be a candidate)
Top 5 Rookie of Year candidates:
This is even easier. Barring injury Oden or Durant will be ROY.

Top 5 MVP candidates:
Lebron (Cavs should win around 50) Kobe (Always considered regardless, does almost everything for his team) Nash (Suns should win around 60 games) KG (Rejuvenated, has a team around him now, expect the same stats but most importantly WINS) Duncan (Should get more respect in this department after his 4th ring)
Top 5 Rookie of Year candidates:
Durant (The man in Seattle now, look for big numbers) Oden (Hype, should put up solid numbers)
Top 5 Most Improved Player candidates
Gerald Green (Might be time for him to "break out" into his potential) Andrew Bynum (showed major improvement last year from his rookie yr) Rudy Gay (Very talented with loads of potential) Al Jefferson (Improved last year putting up 15/11...should improve on that being the #1 option now)

MVP: Nowitzki, Nash, Duncan, James, Kobe
ROY: Durant, Conley, Oden, Harrington are clear if they don't have injuries. For the fifth I bet for Bellinelli, he can be an impressive player.
MIP: Much more difficult, I select just 2, Sergio Rodriguez and Al Jefferson, both have shown very good things last year and they will have a lot of minutes to improve their performance.
