Nah it was Stevenson and Butler IIRC. He had a nice dunk on someone from Washington too that game, I think it was Haywood.

One more sick Jordan statline:

32 points, 10 steals, 2 blk on 14-18 FG in 27 minutes of play

Dude could have easily gunned for the single-game steals record (11), but sat with about 7:00 left in the third in a 27-point blowout. He had another game of 8 steals in 27 minutes also.

David Robinson

34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 blocks against the pistons

27 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 8 blocks against the wolves

31 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, 7 blocks against the wiz

and then his 71 pt game to win the scoring title

Vince Carter

34pts, 15rebs and 7 asts vs the pacers in the playoffs

his 50 pt game where he sank 9 3 pointers to go along with 7asts, 6rebs and 4 blocks against philly in the playoffs

I also like Antawn Jamisons back to back 50 pt games

Payton wasn't really that explosive, so he didn't have many big game bursts. But some of his best games:

35pts 15ast 6stl 2TOs, and held opposing Jason Williams (who was alrite back in Sacramento) to 4pts. Shot 15/22 from the field, and 13/14 from anywhere but the 3point mark.

44pts 9ast 7reb 4stl 1TO
40pts 10ast 2stl
33pts 14ast 11reb 3stl 1TO

Tracy McGrady (Game at New Jersey) Favorite game of all-time.

46 points 10 rebounds 13 assists and 2 stls.

What was great about that game is that (sources say) he had a bit of a flu and managed to put up a trip-dub. Eh.

Kevin Johnson though was the more explosive type player. He had some big games.

42pts 17ast 3stl 2TOs
14/25 14/16

37pts 20ast 2stl
13/21 11/13

That one was on John Stockton too

Had another 30/20 game, a couple more 40/10 games, and so on. Very explosive

Yup. Doesn't surprise me, really. He had 8 steals at halftime in the 52 pt/9 stl game I posted above (vs. Boston, a very disciplined team), and he only played ~20-21 minutes that first half.

Jordan also had a 56 pt/8 stl game vs. Philly on 69% shooting. In fact, Jordan has at least 11 career games of 8+ steals, and possibly more (not many more, most likely, but possibly 1-3 more). You have to estimate it because they don't have box scores for his rookie season, his soph season (though he didn't play much), and no playoff box scores until '96. But on basketball-reference.com, even though they lack the aforementioned box scores, he has 11 such games.
