I'm surprised no one has said Andre Iguodala. I would put him as Number 1, that guy is the definition of athletic.

Haha yeah, Barkley took him down like the beast Sir Charles is. Shaq, during that year, kept pushing defenders around. I admire that Barkley had the guts to slam the ball into Shaq's thick head, and take him down.

Josh Smith is pretty athletic. I think it takes some time to make a name for yourself there and a lot of youngsters are overlooked. Rookies are generally more athletic than vets. Vince was definately the most athletic in his era, not so much now.

LeBron. Ultimate blend of speed and strength. Unmatched by any other player in the past. Some say from free throw line to free throw line, he is the fastest player in the league. That's saying something considering he's 6'8 240+ lbs. Built like a tank, moves like a cheetah. Complete waste of athleticism considering how he chooses to play on the court. If Kobe was this athletic, we'd be saying Jordan who?

I think if no one broke it up, Barkley would have ripped up Shaq.

Complete waste, eh? Two consecutive 50+ win seasons and a trip to the Finals at the ripe age of 22. Yep... what a waste.

If Kobe were as athletic as LeBron, maybe he wouldn't shoot so many low percentage shots, but I doubt more athleticism would make him less selfish.

i second that

josh smith has some freaky ups.

but all around athlete would have to be for me lebron or dwight howard
lebron is obvious, but dwight i put him in cuz a guy his size and with his length and vert for his size and the frame he has, oh forget about it. haha

nate robinson is a freak too. takes some athletic ability to try dunk after dunk after dunk in the dunk contest hahaha

I personally think Vince/Lebron/AI/AI2 are the freaky athletes of the league, I mean with serious ups and great shape. AI isn't 6'0, but used to have crazy hops and sometimes displays he still has it. Vince may be 6'4 and well....everybody knows about his athleticism.

Iggy has a great build, strong, and scary hops, plus is really fast (even with the ball). Pretty much same with LBJ, cept he's better in all respects (cept maybe dunking).

If you factor out relative height Nate Robinson is debatably the best pure athlete. In terms of true a freak of nature: young Shaq, Dwight now, Lebron.
