i'd say bowen is better on defense, bell is better on offense. and even though they both have had their share of cheapshots, bowen out-cheapshots bell, therefore i pick bell.

Manu and Parker is player you can get overall in the nba, but Bowen is one hell of special player. His D might be dirty, but so is many girls. We dont hate on the girls becaus they are dirty, but becaus we are not getting any of it (yes drunk)

Manu is definetely better than Parker and Bowen when it comes to overall skills.
among the spurs players.
defensively. Duncan > Bowen > Manu > parker.
offensively. Duncan > Manu = Parker >> Bowen.
intangibles. Duncan >= Manu > Bowen > Parker.
overall, Duncan > Manu > Parker > Bowen.

Raja Bell is only a good offensive player b/c he has nash on his team and b/c of the system he plays in.

Give me Bowen. Defense wins championships.

Both are dirty players though. Look at Raja vs. Kobe.

Bell played good D with the Jazz. I don't think Nash helps his D at all. In fact, another guard with weak D would actually make it harder to contain his man.

Bruce Bowen is a better on the ball defender and he has a little bit of height on his side. Raja however puts just as much emphasis on the defensive end of the court, is younger and he can shoot from more places than just the corner of the court.

Gimme Raja

Pierce's combination of size and ability make him a tough match for anyone. Ron Artest is the only guy in the NBA to consistently deter him.

Raja's got a nice offensive advantage but neither player is an impact player. Raja's average and Bowen's nonexistent.
I have to disagree about Bowen being "nonexistent" on offense. He's hit some big, big shots during the last two Spur title runs. I understand what you mean but he does impact the game on the offensive end.
