Surprised no one has said him, but i gotta say Steve Nash. . I remember even when he got ripped twice by Smoosh in the playoffs last year and pretty much cost the game at the end no one even came close to saying that he even made one bad turnover or anything.
. . Allthough I may be a little biasd since im in AZ, it seems everywhere I go Steve Nash can do no wrong!
They my not have said he was the greatest ever but they always did fight for him just like in the topic description. If you don't recall a lot of die hard VC fans when he was in Toronto, then you haven't been following the NBA very long.
I've been following the NBA since the 80s. Of course, there were a lot of die hard VC fans in his stint with Toronto, but not the type of die hard fans Kobe has.
There is no doubt the most devoted fans right now are still Jordan fans. Just go over to Niketalk. Currently in the NBA I would go with Kobe. He is the most exciting player to watch. Through the rape trial, through the trade demands, Los Angeles still loves him.
Reason why Kobe is so obvious is because he has the biggest army of hayters. It's alway the most obvious because he's being defended on a constant basis. If there were consistant Dirk, Nash, Bron hayters it would appear as they had the most devoted fans.
That actually makes sense. Cuz anybody who likes Antoine Walker must be really love him cuz they try and hide the fact that he SUCKS. Seriously that guy is the worst player in the NBA. Anybody can produce if the get minutes. I remember i had this argument last year about who was better and my friend was trying to say Walker is better than Posey...........WOW....WOW. And that friend also dropped outta high school....
