Portland would only trade for Morrison if D-Miles is involved

Morrison,Harrington for D-Miles,Future 2nd Round Pick

Why when i look at your post I see the 2nd post, but when I go to quote it and reply I get the 1st one? Their polar opposites, I don't get how your mind can change so quickly in a minute.

how the hell does Morrison possess Larry Brown shooting skill? Bird shot a high percentage, Morrison is a volume scorer.

Morrison had one of the worst efg% in the entire NBA. If he has Larry Bird's shooting, then you have to say the same about pretty much every other player in the league.

I do feel Morrison is a bust

Morrison problem is he can't handle the athleticism at the NBA level
he's not a pure shooter, he's a scorer. Which is his problem
he's too slow to create his own shot! Maybe if he was more crafty like Larry Bird who was a pure shooter but far more athletic that Adam.
Adam doesn't have birds hustle at all. He's flat flooted and he's soft. I hate to say this but its true. He's another one on these White college players who dominates college and comes into the league with a ton of hype. Is expected to be the next Larry Bird and gets in the league and sucks azz. Its not racist but it something that happens over and over again. The bobcats were pressured into takin Adam, they shoulda took Roy, Foye or Aldridge etc
Had they taken Roy they would have had to trade for Richardson
they coulda went after Rashard lewis or even Garnett or somebody.

If he can develop into a pure shooter, he can be an excellent role player
right now he's terrible

I meant more of his ability to shoot jumpers all around the wing, not meaning taking smart shots

Morrison is a good shooter but he is horribly inconsistent
he'd score 28 one game on a great shooting night and then suck for the next 6 games then score 30

Those contracts don't match
Miles has a huge contract for like 40 or 50 million

and 2nd if Miles is healthly they're either gonna keep him or let him get his value up. Miles puts up heavy numbers, he's a skinny version of Gerald Wallce.
He's bananas on Defense, very good on offense
but he has 2 issues.
His Jumper which had improved until his injury and his attitude.
His Attitude is the big problem
But he's still fairly young.
I would never trade him for Morrison
maybe for a point guard but for Morrison, no way.
I let him get his stock up and get more value for him.
Morrison sucks on D not in a million yrs would I take Adam.
Hell swap him for AK47

Cool I edit a lot too, just caught me off guard. Still wouldn't ever gamble on D Miles even if he was healthy and we had a need for a defense first SF. Seeing that he's hurt and that we have a better version of Miles in Wallace I defintely don't want to get near him. If they offer Pryzbilla and Jack or Rodriguez I'd do it, otherwise no thanks. Theres no reason to take on trash contracts before the best summer of free agency in recent memory, unless your taking on a star.

Morrison is a scorer who can shoot!
Shooters are players you better not leave open or they'll kill you.
Scorers can shoot but they need to get into a rhytm before they're a problem.

Adam is a scorer! His problem is he's not physically gifted enough to get quality shots against more athletic defenders.
That why he's so inconsistant most NBA small forwards are shot blockers now. He's not use to having his shots contested like they do at the NBA level. That's one of the reasons why so many euro and foreign players shoot 3's. Its the only place you can get a open uncontested shot.
Adam doesn't have consistant NBA 3pt range to level his struggles out. So he gets shut down by athletic defenders.

Anyone who actually compared Morrison to Bird was retarded. I said his best case coming out of college was Wally Szczerbiak - now it looks like it'll be stunning if he's even ever that good.

If we gotta move Morrison, I say we trade him to Portland for Jarrett Jack and Joel Pryzbilla.
Well, this would be nice if Portland would ever even consider it.

They have no SF for the future, worth taking a chance on him... getting rid of Joel Pryzbilla is the key, here for POR... his value will likely only drop the longer he stays there. POR also has plenty of young PGs and I'm not sure if they are sold on Jack.
