As long as they don't get Jeff McInnis mid-season... the Clips should be well on their way to tanking.

And somewhere out there, a Bobcat fan is laughing with me.

Clippers needed a PG badly with 84 year old Cassell and glass boy Livingston, so I guess if not the best, it's a good signing.

I wonder what kind of deal Knight got. If it was the vet's min, good move.

Funny, with just Brand out suddenly the best option for the Clipps looks to be tanking. Maybe if Thornton really surpasses expectations and a miracle gets the caveman back to his 12pt 9.6rb condition.

But until then, Mobley and Maggette can have fun while waiting for Brand.

That's hilarious.
But seriously though, how come no one wants to play in Miami?

What makes you think Miami wanted Brevin Knight?

Shaq needs a PG who can shoot.

Are you asking me or telling me? cuz I think your question mark is unintentional.

Jason Williams is a FARRRRR better three point shooter than Brevin Knight.

Go ahead now, sonny boy... look it up.

This is old news. Maybe it's because I follow the Cats like a bloodhound, but I knew about this two weeks ago.

Good for him though, BK is a good guy.

Post Re: Brevin Knight signs with the Clippers

This team just missed the playoffs last year despite subpar years by half of the team and major injuries to its fragile PG corps. The loss of EB is devastating for the coming season. He is the focus for the team on both ends.

The signing of Brevin will pay dividends in 2008 when EB and Stanley Livingston will be back and the Clips will have cap space to add a big
FA like Agent Zero.

As for Jeff McGinnis, bring him back to LA and his cancer will bring on
a 60 loss season.

If we sign him, start printing out the OJ Mayo or Derrick Rose jerseys already

Brevin Knight is the definition of an overrated PG. Great stats that somehow never lead to wins for his team.

I think he's followed by Andre Miller... Atleast Brevin isn't extremely highly paid, defends, and isn't an a$$hole.

Yeah. Great off-season aquisition. Brevin Knight and Jason Powell. Are you f*cking kidding me? I agree. Brevin Knight is overrated. I doubt he makes any kind of an impact this season. In fact, I won't besuprised if Jared Jordan helps the Clippers more than Brevin Knight. And then Jason Powell? Who the hell is that guy. From what I remember, the Clippers needed a low post player... So they signed someone who is 6'9" but can't score in the low post. They would have been better off with Melvin Ely. In fact, like Jared Jordon, I think Paul Davis will end up making a bigger impact on the Clippers than Josh Powell.

Unless a miracle happens, the Clippers will win no more than 25 games. And when I say miracle, I mean Kaman having a 20-10 season, Maggette having an MVP season, Thornton beating Durant and Oden for ROY, Cassell somehow turning 30 again, Thomas to play like he did that short time with the Suns, then the Clippers might make the playoffs.
