Woman gets 67 days in jail after killing her husband for demanding oral sex.
Let's see, this lady kills her husband with a shotgun while lying face down asleep in bed with her kids in the next room. They catch her running away in her minivan 350 miles away. Part of her reason for killing this guy is that he demanded oral and non-missionary sex from her. And she gets 67 days in jail? OJ and Robert Blake should have saved themselves some money paying high-powered expensive lawyers and used this defense.
Oh yeah and now she wants back custody of her kids from the killed husband's family.

The world is crazy. Didn't a while ago some 17 year old black kid got 8 years or something like that for (just recieving) consensual oral sex from a 15 year old.
Yet a women kills her husband for not getting sex and will get less time then that kid.

WTF is the difference,when I was 16 my girlfriend was 15,so if her mother called the police on me I would go to jail smh
America's legal system is ****ed up,I could understand if the man was like 37 getting that type of sentence

not oral sex. i saw the thing on tv, the husband was abusive, made her wear wigs, high heels, and sodomized her. one night she just snapped. she got off easy though

Uhh it was not an "American", i.e. Federal, law, it was a backwards southern state law(which was since been changed). Like so many other things, legal systems in the US, are strongly controlled by the individual regions we call states.

That is BS...Ay least make her serve longer in a mental facility..That is getting off with nothing after a murder...Sets a bad precendent if one was not already in place(prob was)..
If Im somewhat abused and my husband asks for head, I can just flip out and shoot him for only 67 days in jail...good deal

"Somewhat abused" is one heck of a euphemism for repeated rape. She didn't handle the situation correctly and possibly should have punished more but please don't trivialize what the woman went through. What she truly did wrong was how she handled the situation, but this man, an alleged man of God, was raping this woman for years, possibly even subjecting her to acts that the Bible expressly condemns. He was a hypocrite and a villain. I don't have sympathy for any ****** that gets what's coming.

I understand that a husband can rape his wife, but it's a complicated thing that's not at all like a stranger raping another stranger. This woman was this man's wife (with all the responsibilities that come with that), and though he deserved punishment for what he did to her, he did not deserve death and she deserves a lot more than a few days in the slammer.
