In the article it says: "If you're wondering why he didn't see the cheese before he bit into the hamburger is because he ate it in a darkened room." I agree that he should have checked though. I check my food before I pull away from the window, and it's usually wrong in some way.

Wrong, if you are so allergic to a food that you could die, you should always trust an apathetic minimum wage food handler to make sure its safe.

the worker had no idea the guy was allergic to cheese...i always check my burgers if it has tomatoes and pickles cuz i dont like them....if eating cheese was deadly to him, he shouldve check no matter what... you and i know that he just wants the money and thats it...

This case will definitely get thrown out, but this is the nonsense we deal with in this country. Somebody suing somebody for some stupid reason, and half the time it doesn't make sense.
