Yea, Miles Austin shouldn't be our #5 WR.

Tyson Thompson looks like he will definatley be on the team.

Man, We our a legit contender this year that's all I know.

I guess Terry Glenn being out for a couple of weeks isn't so bad.

Newman's heel and Greg Ellis have me concerned...

If we could just stay 100% healthy we would be gold...but a season without injuries is so rare.

What I liked
-Dallas' D got plenty of pressure on the qb. That's why Cutler couldn't get into rhythm.
-Ellis wasn't missed at all. IF he does decide to come back, this could get downright scary.
-The guys looked really aggressive at stopping the run.
-Marion Barber looked terrific.
-Julius Jones did okay. Out of the two, I'd have to say Barber had the better half. He just sheds tacklers.
-Patrick Crayton looked VERY impressive. With him, TO, and Glenn out there there's going to be mismatches for days.

What I didn't like
-ST suck @$$. If Jacques Reeves hadn't singlehandedly made about 2 tackles, the kick returner could've broke off even longer gains.
-Goal line awareness needs to be addressed. They looked good stuffing the run but there are too many holes when in passing situations.
-Hurd and Austin boggled some plays. If they want to take that next step, they can't make rookie mistakes in their 2nd year.

Bring on the Midgets and Deadskins!

Miles Austin and Sam Hurd need to step it up! They won't get a better chance than this because if they don't cut it, Dallas will just go out and draft a young WR in the early rounds of the draft

And Julius Jones is probably on his way out after this season. Only way Dallas re-signs him is if he has a Pro Bowl-type season.

Nick Folk needs to be given a shot this season! If he succeeds, sign him to a long-term deal and then Dallas will have it's kicker for years to come, a la Vinatieri when he was with the Pats, Elam with the Broncos.

Well it seems like everyone on this board is a Cowboys fan, so I might as well discuss my Broncos:

1. They sucked.
2. It's all Jay Cutler's fault.

But seriously, it's early so I'll give the defense a break for looking like shit. DJ Williams couldn't tackle to save his life and Champ looked rusty. I must say though, if they can mesh with Lynch, the duo of Dre Bly and Champ out there could be the greatest CB combo ever.

Naw man, Dallas is just good.

Denver has a good squad... What is the deal with Ekuban? How bad is his injury?

Denver is much better than they showed, that's for sure.

I was very impressed with Dallas' O-line, great protection all game pretty much.

Ekuban strained his achilles, I'm not sure how bad it is though. We need him around to mentor rookies Jarvis Moss and Tim Crowder.

^^I'll address that later.

Ekuban's likely done for the year.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7135284

They're saying he tore his achille's tendon. Ouch. Hate to hear that. Especially with it being just preseason.

I'm happy that Barber played well since he is on my fantasy team. It's all about the Saints! Colston!
