Lebron should honestly be coming off the bench to provide a big slam here or there when the first unit is resting. thats not hating on Lebron, its just that his lack of mid range shooting is going to hurt the USA when the offense is running through him. Melo and Kobe are the two best fundamental/mid range shooters this team has. If anyone can kill a zone its these two guys. Melo is a 50% shooter. Kobe isnt but when he's ON hes ON.

I agree with pretty much everything you just said. LeBron is only good for fastbreak dunks. Dude brings nothing else to the table. I'd rather use his roster spot on a player who will actually contribute.

Lebron is an outstanding all-around player with perhaps the best passing skills of any non-PG.
Bring Melo off the bench.

Oh man, Lebron was a joke at the end. Most of his imaginary game-winners never goes in. Even when he was dreaming, the ball bounces off. Let Kidd or somebody shoot the game winner!

Kobe's on the team ... if he plays like the best player on the team, then it'll be "his team". That simple.

You don't designate these things before hand, that's stupid.

A twisting around of a couple of words. You should do more thorough research before questioning the legibility of anything.

Do you mean, questioning the credibility of something?

And second, a smart person asks questions, because Dizzle's "Twisting of a couple words" as you yourself admitted, makes it a misquote, and thus void and possibly libel. That's not how your supposed to be making an argument.

if team usa spent the whole time "deferring" to kobe, wouldn't that just make them the lakers?

there is too much talent there to just say give kobe the ball... i look forward to winning gold but i am NOT AT ALL looking forward to everyone saying that it was because kobe was there*

*if he turns out to be the indisputable reason we won it, fine, but i just don't see that being the case.

yes, kobe is a great player, there is no arguing that, but being the sole reason a team of all star caliber players beats world wide competition, that's stretching it...

LOL, don't try to sound all intellectual, and correct someone's post, when you can't even tell the difference between YOUR and YOU'RE.

This is stupid. Basketball players -- especially the "superstars" on this team - like to shoot. They like to shoot alot and thwey all like to beleive that they are the most important player on the team.

To tell them to defer to anyone is a sure fire way to create chemistry issues.

There will be no chemistry issues as long as everyone moves the ball and looks for the open shot.
