This is good news for Miami fans. I'm sure he'll still be very capable of providing a defensive spark off the bench. Let's hope GP follows suit.

Now there is only one order of business that needs to be dealth with. The back-up point guard posistion. GP has already elected to return, but it's all on Riley/Phund if they want to go in his direction again. I'd say bring back Payton(veteran min) and maybe and an Eddie House(BAE).

I think you squeezed all you could out of Payton. Time to upgrade the back up point guard position.

Mourning was better than Shaq in the Finals when it counted.

I wish we could have gotten him. We could use a guy like that: defensive mastermind who puts his heart on the floor. Yeah he looks silly but too much heart is better than none at all, a/k/a Haywood.

Damn I kinda hope GP doesn't come back just so we can trade Knight for Wright. I wonder if the Heat would include Barron or Simien too..... Well maybe not but a man can dream.

He was better in game 6 but not the whole series.

Alonzo is in a perfert situation & he knows it.

Another team would play him too many minutes.
