I really think yall got a winner
he's good, really good
From what I've seen, he's a talented big man
moves well with the ball and has a nice touch in the post.
He's not Sheldon Williams whose a big but not talented.
I see alot of similarities between him and Dwight Howard.

I think he'll be like Drew Gooden most likely, but with a better inside game and stronger and overall a more rounded out player. I think we could see anywhere from 10-20 points and 8-11 rebounds from him.

Thats pretty much Dwight Howard type numbers

The thing people have to remember is Horford was a stud on a Fully loaded Florida team

On another team he woulda been a go to guy and got more touches and his college stats would really be outa control

I think Al Horford would be good in the starting lineup, I say put Marvin on the bench.

PG-Speedy or Law
SG-Johnson
SF-J-Smoov
PF-Horford
C-Zaza

We got a winner in Al Horford! The kid is mature and confident... He is one of those players, whose impact cannot be meassured just by stat sheet numbers! He will eventualy average 15 & 10, but he's just much more than that... Its up to Hawks to find 30 minutes per game for Al at 4 & 5 and he will deliver...

And I meant in his prime; I see 8-12 ppg, 7-9rpg, 1-2 bpg this year. Next year, maybe 10-14, 8-9, 1-2. I don't think he'll ever be the go-to guy. I think of him as a very poor man's Tim Duncan (without the crunch-time go-to status).

Here is the lineup the Hawks had when Zaza got injuried in the preseason.

PG-A.Johnson cause Speedy and Lue are still hurt
SG-J.Johnson
SF-Marvin Williams
PF-J.Smith
C-Horford

I like this lineup except at the PG spot.

I picked up Horford and Law on my Fantasy team. Hopefully they'll have an impact.

How has that lineup been doing lately? I haven't seen them so my guess is they're getting banged on like crazy.
