Default Who in the Hell invented the 'HOV' lane

Whoever it was deserves jail time.

Driving home from work today and discovered a new one on
the highway I've drove on the past 12 years. And today
I got to watch all the people who just happened to have a passenger in the
car fly right past me. Nobody F'ing carpools to get on the HOV lane.
And the one time you decide to cheat and get on it, you get pulled
over.

Some of you might not give a $hit but rush-hour traffic in Dallas is getting
to the point that population reduction might not be such a bad idea.

the HOV lane... WTF?

Sounds pretty bad. My friend is from Texas and he told me similar stories.

I have to drive on a piece of sh?t highway to work for an hour but I hear that Dallas is insane. Same with LA and NY.

The thing that pisses me off about Portland drivers though is that they are so liberal and try to slow you down in the fast lane for no f?cking reason. F?cking @ss holes!! I swear!! They also cut in with no signals, and very competitive. F?ck them!!

Highway 26 though is our worst highway. I f?cking hate that highway. Sometimes you don't move an inch for 5-10 minutes or so.

I remember we drove from Cleveland to Dallas a few summers ago, cross country, hundreds of cities. AS SOON as we hit downtown Dallas we end up swerving to avoid another car

Traffic in LA is so bad that you just get used to it.

LA is worse....but that is all

and they are only worse because the traffic is so packed

Dallas is bad because everyone seems to think that the highways are a Nascar race...

It really can be frightening

You're comment translates into "Hi, my name is B-Low and I've never driven in or around Washington, DC".

If you can drive in NYC or LA, you can drive anywhere. I've been a passenger in downtown Manhattan during rush hour. Nothing beats that.

yea, dudes in Dallas love getting in the farthest lane left, usually like 4 or 5 lanes, all the way until they see the sign "Your exit: 1/8th mile" then crossing all 5 lanes off traffic at the last minute. Maybe it was because it was summer and all the bad drivers were on some kind of vacation or something, but I didn't find LA and the Bay Area traffic to be worse than Dallas. Dallas also has some stupidly made roads. I remember I was on like a 4 or 5 lane that instantly merged into 1 lane just out of nowhere.

Any city that has a high number of illegal aliens is going to have major driving issues. No driving skills, no courtesy, crappy cars, and a culture where self importance trumps respect for you fellow man = a nightmare on the roads.

after twleve years you finally noticed it?! Get of the Cellphone, stop watching your dvd screen and pay attention to the road.

Hey if you want to use it, start carpooling or buy a blowup doll. I think they should build more HOV lanes and reduce the single person in a car/suv/truck to 1 lane.
