Why wouldn't a
dunk contest count towards a list of the greatest
dunkers of all-time? It's a contest where your true prowess as a dunker should show--all your creativity, style, and athletism. If anything, a dunk contest should count more, because anyone 6' 6" could dunk in a game, and if you're a further, more gifted dunker, then I'm pretty sure if you're 6' 6" and over you could dunk over anyone at once with a good first step.
Given he has dunked in games as well, how could you knock him for lacking in the "in-game" department? The guy's 5' 7". Logic should tell anyone he's not going to go for as many dunks as someone Jordan's height, or Thompson's height. If that's really your concern, then you should ask
anyone 5' 7"
anywhere to dunk as much as Josh Smith or Jason Richardson in the NBA (not in some And-1 game). The height advantage is so unfair it's ridiculous. This guy is just as legit a dunker as anyone (and, side note, he's a much better dunker than Nate Robinson, so don't compare the two just because he's 5' 9").
