Default Do u guys regret that...

we didn't take ronnie brewer? I like Rodney Carney and all, but Brewer is much more of a 2 guard, and thats what i feel we need to move Iguodala to the 3. He can play a little point also, so when we go down the court he could handle it a lot and AI could play the 2 on offense. He's also a better defender than carney.

Nope not one bit. Handles can be worked on by both Iggy/Carney. Just like a jumper can. Patience. Carney will be the better player and he is already better athletically.

Plus, you have to factor the impending AI trade. Who will that bring in? You would hope that would dictate the starting lineup more than a rookie draft pick.

Billy King said he is more interested in putting the 5 best players on the court moreso then who plays what position and so forth. So if Carney/Iggy do and play the same spot it doesnt matter in his eyes. Throw 5 athletic guys on the court and play.

I was pretty upset when they Sixers passed on Brewer. Just saw him as a better fit since he can handle the ball - which Carney still has to work on, play defense and is aggressive on the offensive end. Thought that he could cancel out some of the holes on Iggy's game. Carney tends to disappear in games so i read and he reminds me of a Q-Richardson type of player, who im not really fond of.

I really have not seen either of these guys play. But the times i sa Carney I wasn't impressed. I was actually quite dissapointed with the pick. I would have rather had a godd PF (to help webber) or even that Thabo guy that they picked dat first. I heard some pretty good things about Thabo.
