Top Tier (Elite)
1. Boston Celtics (62+ wins a real possibility, and I'm no fan)

Second Tier (Strong teams)
2. Chicago Bulls (53+ Wins seems reachable)
3. Detroit Pistons (49+ I don't see them improving)
4. Miami Heat (49+.... Never underestimate the greatness of Dwayne Wade, the best perimeter player in the league, and a a devoted Shaq).

Third Tier (Good to fringe playoff teams)
5. Toronto Raptors (47+ Wins)
6. New Jersey Nets (47+ Wins)
7. Washington Wizards (45+ Wins)
8. Cleveland Cavaliers (42 Wins, be prepared for a disappointing season and a first round sweep)

Nets over the Celtics? Maybe you should argue if they are better than Toronto (they aren't).

My bad, Kobe is up there (actually better in terms of skill sets), but Wade has a smarter skillset for end of game situations IMO. For example, you'll usually see Kobe trying to hit an incredible 40 ft fadeaway at the end of games, while you'll see Wade doing everything he can to get to the line.

I don't know about the order, but the 8 teams that will make it in no particular order are:

1.Heat
2.Cavs
3.Pistons
4.Magic
5.Nets
6.Knicks
7.Celtics
8.Bulls

Raptors and Wizards are going nowhere.

I predict 47wins at the least. They've got a top 2 pg (number 1), top tier 2guard, one of the top sfs, Krstic is a guy that can get you 17 and 8, Magloire is a banger than can get you a solid double double every night as a starter. Nachbar coming in off the bench as a great 3pt threat, Marcus Williams showed a lot as a rookie, and the extra year with Kidd can only help his pg skills, Sean Williams is the type player that Kidd can get easy baskets, Boone should improve also, and Collins is actually going to his rightful spot on the bench.

They have a strong team at all positions.

I don't see Boston winning near 60 games but I think they'll be alright after a while...I actually think it will take them time to gel and get some team chemistry...Detroit added a few pieces but some of their starters are aging a bit, I see them kind of at a standstill...I dont' see Cleveland doing too great for some reason...

So Basically, taking a quick stab at it...

1. Boston
2. Chicago
3. Detroit
4. Miami
5. Cleveland
6. Washington
7. New Jersey
8. Toronto

Leaning towards Detroit and Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals...

Just asking,,why would you favor The Magic and Knicks over The Raptors and Wizards?

LOL!!! Not better than the Raptors? Then why did they beat Toronto without their starting center.

4. Washington (45 Games)
5. Cleveland (46 Games)
6. Orlando (45 Games)
7. New York (42 Games)
8. Miami (40 Games)

The Nets have improved more than the Bulls, Wizards or Cavs. They added to their frontcourt with a proven center who can rebound, block shots and score and they added a promising rookie. Plus Krstic who is a 16 ppg and 7 rpg player is coming back.
