Default Will Pietrus End Up In Miami?

Mullin is playing hardball with Miami and he's doing the right thing. The Warriors shouldn't be in a rush to move Mikael unless the perfect package comes along. I can only imagine what kind of junk Pfund is offering to Mullin. So whats the perfect trade? Miami is looking for a sign and trade deal and Mullin is looking to stay under the luxury tax which he's about $4M away from. Udonis Haslem makes $6M and would push them really close to that, but Haslem is an athletic power forward that would fit right into this system. He's a 8.5 rebound per game guy and that will really come in handy. Walker and Simien can handle the PF duties in Miami. The Warriors would have a starting line up of Davis, Jackson, Harrington, Haslem, and Biedrins. That leaves a nice bench with Ellis, Belinelli, Barnes, Wright, and Perovic.

The only thing I can think of is packaging Dorell Wright, Antoine Walker and Jason Williams. Walker and Williams have expiring contracts.

How much of the MLE/Bi-annual do the Heat have left to spend on the market?

Pietrus actually mentioned the Heat and Mavs to me when I was with him at basketball without borders in paris. But his interest in those two teams is pretty public and came out right around that time.

Seems like he's hoping to have a shot at starting somewhere, but he's considered a bench talent by everyone
