Default Rey Terry to Europe

this is a little old but I figured some may not know yet.

as i understand it, the Mavs will keep his rights no?

i hope he is able to develop over there. he seems like a Bruce Bowen starter kit. not a bad thing to try and develop IMO.

Aris TT Bank improved its frontcourt for its second consecutive Euroleague appearance in the 2007-08 season by signing versatile forward Reyshawn Terry to a one-year deal. Terry (203, 23) arrives from the University of North Carolina (NCAA), where he averaged 9.7 points on 43.7% three-pointers and 5.4 rebounds in 38 games last season. He helped the Tar Heels to win the ACC Tournament and reach the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals, but above all, he lifted the 2005 NCAA Tournament trophy with North Carolina. Terry did better in the 2005-06 season, averaging 14.3 points and 6.2 rebounds in 31 NCAA games. Terry, who was Aris coach Gordon Herbert's first choice to improve the team this season, is now ready to bring his athleticism and all-around skills to the Euroleague.

I like the move. He should get more minutes and play against better competition than the D-league. Also the Mavs keep his rights. Which is better than losing him to someone else due to a full roster and possibly have it come back to bite you. With any luck he will show enough to open the Mavs eyes to get rid of Buck next year, if not sooner.
